GEO3BCN-CSIC board established the equality committee in January 2022 to carry out actions in order to ensure equal ease of access to opportunities in the researcher’s career development. The Committee works to prevent inequalities and discrimination that may generate situations of inferiority for gender, sexual orientation or ethnic reasons.

During the first year, the equality team has developed several actions and activities such as promoting meeting schedules from 10 am to 3 pm to ensure the work and family life balance, organizing several talks focusing on gender equality aspects and participating in the CSIC training plan about gender equality.
